Playa Pelada is one of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica, at a little under a mile long, it's a great walking beach. At the far north end at low tide you can see the bat caves, and all along the beach are great tide pools and a cool "geyser" in front of La Luna restaurant. Pelada is a local favourite, expect to see loads of Nosareños enjoying their day off on Sundays at Olga's beach bar.
The main entrance of this impressive biological reserve is located at Lagarta Lodge Hotel. The trails are beautiful and a great way to see some of the flora and fauna indigenous to this area of Costa Rica. When you finish your walk, and enjoy a cocktail and check out Lagarta's great sunset view terrace.
La Luna is such a romantic spot to go in Nosara that it has become a destination wedding location for most couples choosing to get married here, though there's no need for such commitment to enjoy a dinner or sunset cocktails here. It's a must do while in Nosara and Pelada visitors have the added bonus of being able to walk here!
Seekret Spot Gelateria
Seekret Spot came to Pelada a few years ago and their world class homemade gelato has people coming from all over Nosara and beyond to sample it.
Olga's Beach Bar
Olga's is practically a heritage site in Nosara, one of the oldest bars around, ownership has passed on to the next generation. Olga's is "grandfathered" in, making it the only bar in Nosara with beach side tables, and a great way to enjoy the afternoon. Cheap cold beer and a local vibe that can't be matched, this is a landmark in Nosara.
